Dr. Jennifer Gordon, MD

Jennifer Gordon, MD received her specialty dermatologic training from the University of Texas Southwestern in Austin, where she served as chief resident. Prior to residency, she completed her internship at UTSW Austin as well as a Clinical Trials Research Fellowship in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She has authored many publications and book chapters, presented at multiple scientific meetings and is still actively involved in dermatological research.
Dr. Gordon grew up in Iowa, and graduated medical school from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine with research distinction. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, where she also won the award for best senior thesis and received multiple research grants.
Dr. Gordon is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Dermatology Foundation, the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society.
Dr. Gordon’s interests include adult and pediatric medical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, with an emphasis on melanoma and the prevention of skin cancer for athletes, as well as cosmetic dermatology. She was selected as one of the “Texas Super Doctors Rising Stars” in Texas Monthly magazine in 2016, 2017 and 2018 in the category of dermatology and has been named as a “Top Doctor” in dermatology.
